And here's what he brought me:

Yup, a real live book!

It's even beautiful underneath the cover!

Stirwaters Blue endpapers!

Sigh.  March is a loooong time away, isn't it? ;)

Beautiful!

And I always love with AAL Books does beneath the dustjacket. So classy.

Oh, my gosh--they make THE most beautiful books. I knew that, going in. :D It's not just all about the cover--it's everything. The end papers, the interior art... this little strip of yellow stuff covering up the glue in the binding? Cheryl pointed it out to me (and told me what it was called, which I promptly forgot, of course). Oh. Delicious things they are.

I will say, though, that there is a noticeable lack of orange in this book, which is highly unusual for AALB books (I've made quite the study). It's OK, it could hardly be "gorgeouser," but, well, I actually *like* orange. A lot. Really. So I wouldn't have minded.

Very nice!

I keep reading great things about the book and I'm a little impatient that March is so far away. (As I'm sure you are, too!)

It's lovely! I'm not sure which I like better: the dustjacket or what's underneath! I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of my own in March!

Oh, how beautiful! And the designer has left you lots of room on the title page to sign, which is a GREAT help!

You must have been a very good writer this year for Santa to show up with that. Beautiful!! (And on a completely unrelated note, your fireplace looks just like mine.)
